The new Bluetooth RFID smart card reader is the latest Innovation from REINER SCT for the secure mobile use of apps and smart cards.

The elegant design and the extensive functions make the ultra-flat cyberJack^® wave the ideal add-on for all modern notebooks, smartphones and tablets.

For optimum mobility, the cyberJack^® wave has a powerful lithium ion battery that can be charged at any time via USB. The high-resolution TFT display can show all safety-relevant data clearly structured and in color. The elegant soft-touch keyboard with tactile feedback rounds off the user friendliness.

This makes it possible to safeguard apps and transactions with chip card-based security via Bluetooth 2.1 and 4.0 LE for the first time, and to guarantee the highest security level through an independent display with secure PIN entry.

The RFID function enables the cyberJack^® wave to also communicate with contactless chip cards (e.g. cash card or the new ID card) via NFC.

Note: An app (Android, iOS) is required for using the cyberJack® wave via Bluetooth. Our current driver (Base Components from V6.10.7) and the relevant Windows application are required for using the cyberJack® wave via USB. Linux and Max OS X are not yet supported in the preview version.

Currently supported operating systems

Bluetooth 2.1: Android, Windows Phone, from Windows XP, Mac OS X 10.6 and Linux.
Bluetooth 4.0 LE: From Android 4, iOS 6, Windows Phone 8, OS X 10.8, Windows 8. The support of the reader depends on the respective app. The support of Bluetooth 4.0 LE is hardware dependent.
